A leader who knows how to get things done

Jeri is a longtime Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority leader and senior union advocate with decades of experience solving problems, managing teams, and fighting for fairness.

She started from the bottom as a facilities worker and worked her way up to Parts Foreperson, helping manage the teams and systems that keep buses and light rail moving across our region. As a single mother for many of those years, Jeri understands what it means to work hard, stretch a budget, and fight for a better future.

She served as Treasurer, Political Director, and Executive Board Member of ATU Local 265, representing more than 2,000 current and former transit workers and leading political advocacy through the Union’s Committee on Political Education.

Putting Saratoga Families First

That means a Saratoga with leadership that is experienced, responsive, and rooted in real community needs. Jeri will bring a steady voice and a worker’s common sense to the issues that matter most.

Saratoga should be a place where families, seniors, workers, and young people can build a future - not be priced out of one. City government must stay focused on the basics: safety, emergency preparedness, well-maintained roads, and public services residents can count on.

Jeri believes local government has a responsibility to protect our environment, prepare for climate challenges, and make smart, sustainable decisions for the next generation. Jeri knows lasting progress comes from listening, building relationships, and bringing people together around practical solutions.
